Significant funding to Serenergy for HTPEM development

June 23, 2010: 3,4 mio. euros for new fuel cell development

The Danish Energy Agency has granted the funding of 25 mio. DKK (3.4 mio. euros) for further development of a 5kW HTPEM fuel cell module with integrated methanol reformer. Serenergy leads the joint development project which also Danish Power Systems Ltd., DTU (Technical University of Denmark) and the University of Aalborg participates in.

New order on fuel cells

June 23, 2010: Microcab Industries Ltd. choose fuel cells from Serenergy

Serenergy is very pleased to announce an agreement with Microcab Industries, UK for the supply of 10 Serenus 3kW fuel cell modules for use in Microcab's next generation of fuel cell hybrid demonstration vehicles. Microcab and Serenergy intend to work closely together to develop this and also future automotive applications.

New hybrid vehicle

June 9, 2010: Electric and fuel cell multi truck hybrid debuts

An electric and fuel cell multi truck hybrid was presented today in Aalborg Zoo, Denmark with the attendance of the Danish Minister for Climate & Energy. The test vehicle is to be used along the Zoo's existing diesel powered trucks which it will replace.
 
With the use of two Serenergy Serenus E-350 fuel cell reformer modules with integrated methanol reformer the hybrid vehicle acomplish long range while minimizing battery charging time. The truck is developed in a joint cooperation between Serenergy, GMR Machines, OK a.m.b.a. and the Danish Technologicalal Institute. The project is funded by the danish EUDP (Energytechnological development and demonstrationprogramme) funds.
